What's Cooking - 01.16.12 Edition

Another year is here, and now I have yet another chance to plan healthy meals for my family. At least, thats my goal most of the time. We don't eat 100% organic, whole grain, gluten-free meals. I fully admit that there are days where I cook using canned foods, pasturized stuff, and/or even cream-based soups.

When those days arrive and I need to get something ready in a flash, more often than not, it came from a can (at least partially). And... really, I'm totally okay with that.

Anyway... now that I've got that off of my chest... here's what I'm planning to serve my family this week:

What are you making this week?

Short ribs tomorrow. I usually work out my week a little further in advance than that but for some reason have not.

You do such an amazing job creating variety for your lucky family.

You do know Colette is coming May 4th doncha??
