Christmas 20+ Questions...

My friend Emily emailed this to me. Rather than loading up your email box, why not just tag a few souls?? Here are my answers...

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate all the way (unless it’s in my new favorite Egg Nog Cookies! YUM!!)
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? It depends on how much he’s brought me.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? White inside. Nothing outside this year.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? Not this year.
5. When do you put your decorations up? Traditionally, weekend after Thanksgiving
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Cranberry Salad or Frog Eye Salad
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Doing Secret Santa’s for less fortunate families
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? On my 8th birthday… dagnabbit!
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Just one.
10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him? Whatever’s available. J
11. Snow love it or dread it? Both! It’s fun to play in, but sucks to drive in!
12. Can you ice skate? Not really.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? A purple corduroy mini skirt. My parents didn’t realize it was a mini skirt when they bought it.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Family time
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Pumpkin Pie Custard from Sheridan’s
16. What's your favorite Christmas tradition? Singing with my family around the piano. I’m having a really hard time not doing that this year. It’s not the same when you do it by yourself.
17. What tops your tree? A star made out of grapevines
18. Which do you prefer? Giving or receiving? Giving the perfect gift! But, receiving is LOTS of fun too!
19. What is your favorite Christmas carol? One Special Star or There Were Three Kings (not traditional Christmas Carols, sorry! LOVE Christmas Caroling though!!)
20. What's the best thing to do with candy canes? Eat them, of course
21. How many of your Christmas gifts are you hand making? Maybe 7 – and it’s so EASY!!! I’m sliding wedding photos into already made albums! Sweeeeet!
22. How many different kinds of holiday treats are you making? What are they? Oodles! Egg Nog Cookies, 3 kinds of Fudge, Russian Teacakes, Cheesecake, Christmas Cherry Bread (Beste tradition!), Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies, Candy Cane Cookies (Steve’s big request)!
23. How many stockings are hung? 3 soon to be 4! Steves, Mine, Thomas’s and Stephanie (Tom’s girlfriend is staying with us Christmas Eve!)
24. Wreath on your front door? Sometimes. It just won’t stay hung up!
25. Christmas shopping done? YEP!!! Shipping?? No! Dang pictures! We’re missing two major photos, and decided to go the cheap way… big mistake I think!
