Actually, it's not almost a month - it HAS been a month since I posted last! It seems like a lot has happened, but in reality it's been easy going.

My father's mother, Margaret Davidson, passed away last month. It is a sad thing for us, but a good thing for her. She had recently been hospitalized for pnemonia, but the doctors found a growth in her lungs. She passed away a few days later. My father had the opportunity to go up and visit her only a day or so before she passed. I'll be traveling to Utah to attend her memorial service mid-June.Hmmm what else has happened lately?

I traveled to Austin to attend the Scrapbook Expo with Rusty Pickle. It was a lot of fun, and a sweet friend of mine - Maryn - went with me. I so enjoyed our time together! And, of course, I spent a bit more money than I had planned, but no where near as much as I could have! :)

In June I'll be attending the Great American Scrapbook Convention, again with Rusty Pickle, in Arlington, Texas. It's only about 30 minutes from my home, so I'll get to sleep in the comfort of my own bed! WOOOHOOO! It will be a whirlwind of a convention though! Classes start at 8:30 in the morning and go straight through until about 5:30 at night. Afterwards there are store appearances and classes. YIKES! I don't envy the Rusty Pickle people! All work and NO play! :)

Yes, Steve and I are still dating! I'm quite happy, and I do so enjoy his company. He makes me laugh at the most absurd things - but life is by far too short to not laugh at! He purchased a new car and I LOVE it! It's a cute little blue Honda CR-V. He has buyers remorse now ("I should have gotten the basic model") but I LOVE the bells and whistles it has! :)

My neice, Arissa, turned 4 this month. My, my! Where has the time gone! She is still absolutely adorable! I really enjoy the time we get to spend together - when we get to spend time together that is!It's been REALLY hot here lately! All weekend the temperature was around 99 degrees - SO pool weather! But, I stayed inside and tried to just relax. I'm doing well. I continue to lose weight, and have started doing more vigerous workouts. I'm trying to get up early and get on the eliptical machine for 20-30 minutes each day, but sometimes my bed is entirely too comfortable to get out of! I'm also going to a yoga class at work about 3 days a week. I've really come to love yoga. It's great for my flexability - or bendability!I hope you're all doing well!

Until next time!
